Jay Jansheski lives in Seattle, WA, and has contributed engravings and illustrations for OBR since the second issue. Visit Jay on the Web at verydog.com.

Kevin McGowin completed his graduate studies at the University of Florida and taught English at the college level for ten years before retiring to write full time. He has lived in Birmingham, Micanopy, Denver, Raleigh, New Hampshire, and most recently New Orleans, the setting for his second novel, Town Full of Hoors, for which he was recognized in the Gambit Weekly's fifth annual "40 Under 40" for his "contributions to life in the Crescent City." McGowin is the author of three novels, including his most recent, What God Has Joined Together, a novella, The Basement, a collection of poems, The Better Part of a Fortnight, as well as numerous short stories in such publications as Eclectica and 3 AM. He has been a Contributing Editor to Oyster Boy Review for many years, and his reviews and essays continue to appear within its pages and elsewhere.
